PJ Library

Dear Families –

We are thrilled to tell you about an opportunity from the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago to receive FREE Jewish books and music – PJ Library!  PJ Library sends families with children ages 6 months – 8 years high quality, age-appropriate Jewish books and music – with absolutely no strings attached.

Space is limited and the program already filled up once!   To learn more and sign up, please visit www.juf.org/pjlibrary or call 312-357-4831 for more information.  Please note that in Chicago, PJ Library is limited to one subscription per family so that we are able to accommodate as many people as we can in this fantastic program.

If you’re already receiving books (or just signed up) or don’t qualify yourself, but know a family who does, please share this email with them so they can also take part in this wonderful program.
Make sure to ‘like’ PJ Library Chicago on Facebook - www.facebook.com/PJLibraryChicago to stay up to date with upcoming PJ Library and JUF Joyfully Jewish Programs, parenting information, prize giveaways and more!

Happy reading!

Sincerely,

Emily

*The PJ Library was created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and is a gift to your family from the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, local donors and your local early childhood Jewish educators.

Last Day of Sunday School

The time is almost here for the last day of religious school. We are all set to show our Annual Photo Montage, thanks to Matt Friedman, one of our fantastic teens. We may even have a short magic show from our spectacular magician, Jack Gordon. Stay tuned for more information...

Mitzvah Project Corner (send us a blurb about your mitzvah project and we will spread the good word!)

Help the Animals.  Julia Kessel is is collecting food and toys for the Humane Society as her mitzvah project for her May 31st Bat Mitzvah. She is collecting for cats and dogs and any food or toys would be a big help.  If you can contribute food or toys, please put them in box in the Synagogue lobby.
